mimi san in town!!
yea, it's mimi san in town. a friend of mine from #asia chatroom. she's a taiwanese borned but stayed in Japan. eventually she got married with a guy and now they live in England together with 2 children. She was in Penang for a few days before she came down to Malacca with her family by car. Her husband, david, dont want to come here by bus so he decided to drive all the way from Penang to Malacca. I was suppose to meet them on Friday night but too bad they were too tired after the journey and headed to their hotel. so i went to Jonker Walk with mice XD
The next day, i had lunch together with mimi san & family , mice and bcda. mice fetch me from EP and we went to Jaya Jusco (JJ) for awhile coz mice wanna buy the steamer from Guardian. Then we walked around JJ and again mice bought some stuff. Then we headed to Malacca's most popular chicken rice ball at Jonker Walk. We waited for at least 30 mins to get the seats. The place was packed. A few minutes later, bcda reached at that shop with mimi san , her husband and children. i was shocked coz mimi san doesnt look like chinese at all :P
she looked more like a modern japanese lady with tanned skin. and she's thin and shorter than me. OMG.. she's soooooooo cute :P
I dont talk much with mimi san coz i was quite shy *.*
she dont know who i was at first until mice told her that im nikki. and she asked if im the nikki that she know and i said yes. and yeah.. i did changed my nick in #asia so some chatters still dont know that im nikki XD
After lunch, we walked around Jonker Walk from one shop to another until around 4 something in the evening. Then we decided to go back and rest and meet again for dinner. mice sent me back to EP. i quickly took my shower coz mice and i planned to to go mahkota parade to look around. i waited for his phone call or smses but too bad there's wasnt any of them. so i sent sms to him incase he fall asleep. to my horror, i got a reply saying 'look at the window' so i rushed to my room's window and saw mice's car and he was waving at me *.*
i quickly change my clothes and rush down to his car. seeing that we was quite early but not too early either, we decided not to go to mahkota parade but to senyum mall instead. i've never been there ever since im studying in malacca (-____-)"
after that we went to malacca raya coz mice thought that we're going to have dinner there with mimi san. we waited for at least an hour when he decided to call bcda. and bcda is suppose to fetch mimi san and her family. then we got to know that we're suppose to go to 'satay celup' shop >.>
so mice drive to the malacca most popular 'satay celup' shop. finally we meet up with the rest. david asked how did i got there. did i came here by walking or something. i said mice fetch me. we were having fun talking and eating satay celup. too bad for mimi san's daughter as she cannot take spicy food. she 'celup' her 'satay celup' inside the water. awww poor lil girl.. and it was bcda's idea for her to do that >.>
i think i had the most 'satay celup' compare to the others :P
i enjoy eating XD we joked around too, we had this silly idea of get the rid of the 'satay celup' sticks so that we can pay less for what we ate. joshua, mimi san's son, gave this brilliant idea to throw the sticks under the car near the table that we were sitting eat. while david suggested that we throw inside the pit near the table. i got this silly idea that to break some of the sticks and dump them into the pot in the middle of the table which contain the 'kuah' for 'satay celup' but in the end, we stillhave to pay full amoount. none of us dare to get rid some of the sticks :P
Then we went to Jonker Walk. mice and bcda hand over mimi san and family to me so that i can walk them around while they go book a place in Geographer. We watched this old man's performances on how he blew the fire out from his mouth, whip the newspaper into tiny pieces and it was a clean cut and finally poke a hole into the coconut fruit. for the 3rd perfomance, he took at least 20mins promoting his special oil. dang... we got so impatient especially joshua and mimi san. we agreed that 2 seconds worth of action will take 20 mins time of talking :P
david got tired of waiting and he walked around leaving us behind for awhile til the performance ended. then we walked around Jonker Walk, looking at the stuff but without buying anything.. and finally we reached Geographer. mice and bcda ordered a bucket of Heineken beer; buy 4 free 1.
and the kids and me cant drink beer so we just sat there looking that the performances inside the cafe. and they ordered another bucket or beer... and i got so thirsty so i ordered shandy while the kids had coke. we were talking non stop and enjoying the night show. and matt called me at that time. i went to a quiter place to talk to him. gosh... i miss him so much. when i got back to the table, mimi san teased me. she asked if my boyfriend called me. i was blushing like hell. i think i know who told mimi san. must be mice and bcda *.*
and then there's a group of guy who seems to be interested to be friend with david. they pour wisky into a glass and passed to him. they invited mimi san, mice and bcda too. but mice rejected coz he cant take it as he need to drive me back to EP soon :P
bcda cant drink too coz he need to drive mimi san and family back to hotel. so only mimi san and david joined the group and drink wisky. pity the kids.. they were so sleepy.. especially joshua :P
we were there at least at 1 something in the morning. then mice decided to send me home coz i need to go to KL the next day to get merchandise stock for EMiNA's upcoming event. on the way to mice's car, he called bcda and told him to bring mimi san and her family back as soon as possible coz those group of guys might end up making mimi san and david pay for the wiskies. i gave an idea to mice while he's talking to bcda to tell those guys that the kids are sleepy and they need to sleep so that mimi san and david can get out from there.
it was fun to go out with them. too bad it was only for a short time but it's more than enough ^^
and tooo bad coz i couldnt say goodbye to them on sunday as i have to go to KL :(
and the fact that i couldnt have lunch at fancy restaurent makes me sad too :P
